MIDLAND - The Midland S.P.C.A. has a new shelter director who hopes to find every animal they have a new home.
Yoshina Woods started at the shelter back in November.
She moved to Midland from Houston after spending the past two years with horses and farm animals.
She has a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science and some graduate-level work in the same field.
Woods says that the S.P.C.A. is beyond its normal capacity right now with 33 dogs and 34 cats housed there.
She is planning to hold adoption fairs after she gets the paperwork for all of their animals in order.
Because they are so full, they can't take any strays in right now.
Right now, they're posting pictures of the animals on their Facebook page in hopes that someone will see it and choose to adopt.
