A suspected drunk driver from Hobbs leads authorities on a high speed chase that crossed state lanes. But that was just the beginning. Lea County deputies say they tried to pull 28-year-old Rachelle Lamey over on Denver City Highway but she took off.

HOBBS, N.M. - A suspected drunk driver from Hobbs leads authorities on a high speed chase that crossed state lanes.

But that was just the beginning.

Lea County deputies say they tried to pull 28-year-old Rachelle Lamey over on Denver City Highway but she took off.

We're told the chase went over 100 miles an hour.

She crossed state lanes and headed for Denver City.

At one point, we're told Lamey stopped and then tried to hit several officers with her truck.

Officers responded with gunfire.

Lamey was hit with a bullet in the leg.
