Oilfield Worker Airlifted After Industrial Accident East of Andrews

NEAR ANDREWS - An oilfield worker had to be airlifted to an Odessa hospital after a leg shattering accident.

The accident happened on a Patterson Drilling Rig, just 17 miles east of Andrews.

We're told a pipe rack fell on to the leg of a 38-year-old man from El Paso.

The worker had to be airlifted to Medical Center Hospital because of the remote location.
