LOVINGTON, N.M. - The City of Lovington is teaming up with Lea County to offer incentives to companies to build more housing.

They are asking developers to fill out an application through the Lovington Economic Development Corporation by the end of this month.

The city and county have set aside nearly a million dollars to give as incentives to developers.

They're hoping to hand out $6,000 for each new home built.

The deadline is at the end of the month, but if you miss it, you can still send it in.

Applications will be taken through December of 2015 or until funding runs out.
