MIDLAND - An elderly man who went missing on Tuesday night in Midland has been found.
80-year-old Jose Borunda was spotted by Midland Police at the Stripes on North Big Spring Street around 8:40 a.m. Wednesday morning.
He was taken to Midland Memorial to get checked out as a precaution.
Officers started looking for Borunda around 8 p.m. Tuesday night after someone saw him walking down Neely Avenue
Borunda had Alzheimer's and doesn't speak any English.
We're told he accepted rides from strangers before.
That's why officials sent out a Silver Alert statewide and notified Border Patrol agents just in case.
