MIDLAND - A brand new mobile home park set to start construction in Midland last month is now a no-go.
The Midland Planning and Zoning Commission turned down the project on Monday night.
The Stonebridge Estates was scheduled to open up off Fairgrounds Road in February.
It was supposed to be an upscale mobile home park with professional landscaping and maintenance.
Despite the severe housing shortage in the Basin right now, the Commission didn't feel putting a mobile home park next to a 24-hour pipe yard would be the best use for the land.
