SEMINOLE - Students in Seminole will start seeing some big changes at one of their elementary schools soon.

Seminole ISD trustees approved a $9.6 million budget to start renovations on the F.J. Young Elementary School at their meeting on Monday night.

The huge overhaul will not only help to fix up the buildings already in place but it will also add 14 new classrooms and a brand new gym.

While the project is being completed later this spring, students and faculty from F.J. Young will be shuffled to the old Seminole Junior High School campus.
