MIDLAND - A Midland man is dead following a motorcycle accident in Midland on Friday afternoon.
Midland Police tell NewsWest 9, According to Midland Police, a Chevy Silverado was attempting to turn west near Sinclair Drive when the motorcycle collided with the Silverado.
The motorcyclist, 23-year-old Jesse Kinsey of Midland, died on the scene.
Witnesses told police that Kinsey had been driving recklessly and the damage caused by the impact indicated that he was traveling at speeds faster than the posted speed limit.
Kinsey was wearing a helmet and a toxicology report is pending.
The driver of the truck was not injured in the accident.
Midland Police say that no charges will be filed as a result of the accident.
