ODESSA - A lucky break for Odessa Police after they pulled over a man for a traffic stop.
It turns out he was wanted in a shooting.
Police pulled 19-year-old Abner "Ace" Bustillos for a traffic stop on Grant last week.
The officer determined that the teen have given him a fake birthday.
When the officer doubled checked, he discovered Bustillos was wanted for shooting a man last month.
The shooting happened at the Arbor Terrace Apartments in Odessa back on December first.
Police say Bustillos shot at 20-year-old Mark Lujan and grazed him in the head.
Bustillos had been on the run ever since.
He's charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and failure to identify himself as fugitive.
