HOBBS, N.M. - A Hobbs woman tried to make off with some pricey electronics and was busted.
Police say 26-year-old Victoria Chavez tried to run off with an LCD TV and a DVD player from Wal-Mart.
When employees tried to chase her down, she pointed a bb gun at them.
Officers then took over the chase and found her hiding near a fire station.
While officers were searching her, they found a meth pipe and pot in her purse.
Chavez also had an outstanding warrant.
