A new bill in the Texas legislature is proposing there be consequences if you're caught texting while you drive.
Tom Craddick is once again introducing the bill to the House.
Craddick had tried to pass a ban that would prevent texting and driving back in 2011 but that bill was shot down.
When the legislative session begins on Tuesday, Craddick is planning to give it another go.
If it passes, Texas would become the 40th state to pass such a law.
