ODESSA - Members of an Odessa church that burned down a few months ago celebrated the first Sunday of the New Year in a new church.
The congregation of St. James Missionary Baptist Church held their first services in their new building off of 11th Street in Odessa.
Last year, a fire destroyed the church but members came together on Sunday in their new building.
If you're interested in attending, St. James Church is located at 2212 11th Street.
The congregation invites everyone to attend.
