ODESSA - A suspect who police believe was involved in the 2008 disappearance of an Odessa man is now behind bars.
The man in custody is facing murder charges.
26-year-old Miguel Venegas is who police say was the last man who saw Rene Sanchez before he vanished four years ago.
Venegas is now charged with murder.
You might remember back in July of 2008, Sanchez' wife reported her husband missing.
During the investigation to find Sanchez, police believed that 26-year-old Miguel Venegas was the last person to see him.
Since he disappeared, detectives have continued trying to find Sanchez.
But on Saturday, Odessa Police say they established probable cause to charge Venegas with murder.
He's now at the Ector County Jail.
