ALPINE - Bad road conditions are being blamed for an accident in Alpine that critically injured a woman.
The accident happened on Thursday night on North Highway 67 after the city had just been hit with around three inches of snow.
The wintry weather also made the rescue difficult.
It took deputies more than an hour to get the woman out of her car safely.
Her injuries were so bad they could not airlift her to the hospital.
