MIDLAND - Midland's first baby of the New Year was born early Wednesday morning.

Raigan Blanco gave birth to her first child a little after 1 am.

The baby boy weighed 7 pounds and 10 ounces.

Blanco and her husband, Isaac, were presented with a gift of donated items for their child.

They included a car seat and a special picture frame.
