MIDLAND - Attorneys told a judge on Wednesday morning that they are ready to present their case for Doctor Barrett Whitefield.
The doctor and seven others were indicted for conspiring to intentionally distribute meth and hydrocodone painkillers back in November.
Whitefield's license was also suspended.
Whitefield did not appear in court on Wednesday.
Jury selection for his case will start early next month.
