MIDLAND - A Midland man is facing multiple felony charges for repeatedly breaking into buildings and stealing people's wallets.
40-year-old George Walker was arrested on Sunday for the crimes he had committed back in October.
According to the Midland Reporter Telegram, police were called to the 100 block of North Marienfeld because a woman had her wallet stolen from her office and several charges were made to her bank account.
She told authorities that there were two other thefts that had happened that same week.
She described a man that cops later identified to be Walker and said that he was walking around carrying blue tape and a paint roller.
When a company representative was called, officials found out that Walker didn't work for them.
Detectives were able to find store videos from the stores where the victim's card was used and found Walker on them.
While they were investigating, they found another video from Midland Memorial Hospital of him stealing a credit card.
Officials also discovered that he had a warrant from Colorado.
If walker is convicted, Walker could spend up to eight years in prison.
