Weekend Fundraiser Raises $48,000 For Victims of Last Month’s Deadly Train Crash

MIDLAND - A special fundraiser raked in thousands of dollars for victims and their families of last month's train crash in Midland.

The Show of Support organization that brought in the veterans last month raised $48,000 this past weekend.

The funds collected will benefit all 24 of this year's show of support families.

With the help of live and silent auctions at the VFW Hall in Midland, the community will be able to help these families with either medical bills or Christmas.
