Big Spring High School Bomb Threat A Hoax

BIG SPRING - Big Spring High School was temporairy evacuated around 10 Monday morning. Big Spring ISD Assistant Superintendent Danny Ferrel tells KBYG News that the Big Spring Police Department received an anonymous bomb threat in a phone call.

School district officials were contacted and they decided to evacuate the high school by issuing a fire drill. Police conducted a sweep of the school, including the specific area where the bomb was said to be located.      

The all clear was then issued and students were allowed back in class. Police are investigating the threat that has been determined to be a hoax.
