ECTOR COUNTY - Former Ector County Attorney Cindy Weir-Nutter has been cleared of accusations of criminal conduct.
Nutter was accused last year of giving employees extra time off which were called "Cindy Days" or "Cindy Time."
A grand jury report explained that while Nutter should have followed protocol and what she did wasn't illegal and stemmed from her lack of knowledge and understanding.
After all the evidence was presented, the jury says her actions didn't warrant criminal charges.
County Commissioners were urged to re-establish employee hours and how they're calculated.
