ODESSA - The trial against Victor White continued on Wednesday afternoon.
Numerous witnesses including the deputy who was shot in the head during the ordeal took the stand.
Ector County Sheriff Mark Donaldson, the pilot of the DPS helicopter and several expert witnesses also took the stand for the prosecution.
Throughout the proceedings on Wednesday, White was seen laughing and giggling while scanner recordings from the day of the incident were played for the court.
During a recess, White even waved at our NewsWest 9 cameras.
As you'll recall, Victor White is accused of shooting two deputies and another person back in September of 2010.
White then engaged law enforcement in a 22 hour standoff on his property.
White is facing three counts of attempted capital murder and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
