Denver City Man Killed After Trying to Intervene During Robbery in Roswell

ROSWELL, N.M. - A Denver City man was killed on Tuesday when he tried to intervene during a robbery in Roswell, New Mexico.

We're told Saul Sanchez was in Roswell for a funeral and was staying at a friend's home.

When he walked into the home, he found a burglar sifting through the house.

When Sanchez confronted him, the burglar shot and killed him.     

Police are still on the hunt for the masked killer.
