MIDLAND - A Midland man is dead after a rollover accident in Midland.
The accident happened on Loop 250 and Crestway Drive on Tuesday evening.
We're told 55-year-old Anthony Shaw from Midland was pronounced dead at the hospital.
We're told he was about to exit Midland Drive off the Loop but traffic was stopped and backed up at the exit.
He was going too fast and had to swerve to miss the other cars.
Thomas overcorrected and he rolled his SUV several times.
Unfortunately, he wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was ejected.
The SUV then landed on top of him, pinning him underneath.
Alcohol was not a factor.
Animal Control was called out to pick up the two pets that were inside the vehicle.
