MIDLAND - A Midland College professor is accused of getting a little too friendly with one of his students.
62-year-old Robert D. Templeton was in court on Tuesday for a misdemeanor assault charge.
According to one of his students, Templeton struck up a conversation with her, starting rubbing her arms and thigh and told her she was pretty.
She claims he then asked if he could get personal with her.
That's when another student walked in.
The girl told campus police after that, she stopped going to Templeton's class.
According to the affidavit, the professor became angry when questioned.
He's still teaching at the college, but if found guilty, he'll be put on administrative leave.
