We now know the name of the man who was killed yesterday in an accident on South Highway 385 in Ector County. DPS tells us 35-year-old Ralph Granado, of Odessa, was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Granado died at the hospital. We're told DPS is still looking for the driver of the car that caused the crash.
One of the two people taken to the hospital has passed away. Troopers are still on the scene completing their investigation. We'll update as soon as we know more.
ECTOR COUNTY - DPS troopers on the scene tell us two people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the suburban is in critical condition.
We're told the crash was caused by a car pulling onto 385 from a side road and the suburban was traveling around 80 mph.
Officials say the car did not stop after the crash and troopers are looking for the driver.
