Midland House Burglarized Then Set On Fire

MIDLAND - A Midland home was set on fire Friday morning but, not before a few pricey items were stolen.

It happened at a home on the 300 block of Maple around 6:00 AM Friday morning.

No one was at home at the time since the house is being remodeled.

Police say the fire was intentionally started in the front bedroom which was destroyed.

The rest of the home ended up with smoke damage.

When the owner inspected the place he noticed his 60-inch TV was gone, along with some tools and new toilet fixtures.
