Fatal Shooting In Yoakum County

YOAKUM COUNTY - Sheriff's officials there tell NewsWest 9 one man is dead after some sort of altercation.

It happened Wednesday about 3 to 4 miles east of Denver city.

Sheriff's officials say they received a 911 call sometime after 8:30 Wednesday night regarding the altercation.

When authorities arrived at the home they found 46-year-old Kenneth Krauter dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

An autopsy has been ordered on the body.

Officials tell NewsWest 9 they do have a person of interest but have not made any arrests.

The investigation is ongoing.
