ODESSA - An Odessa man was arrested Thursday evening for deadly conduct and tempering with physical evidence.

Officials tell NewsWest 9, that officers were dispatched to 927 East 18^th Street, looking for someone with a gun.

Officers heard shots fired, and arrested Jose Rojas, after he had thrown the rifle into a neighboring yard.
