MIDLAND - NewsWest 9 has learned two victims of the tragic train accident earlier this month have filed a lawsuit.
The suit was filed on Wednesday in Midland against Union Pacific Railroad and Smith Industries.
Smith Industries let the "Show of Support" organization borrow the truck for the parade.
The two victims who are suing are Richard Sanchez and his wife and Lacy King and her husband.
Both Sanchez and King were injured in the wreck.
Sanchez suffered a broken back.
The Law Firm, Glasheen, Valles & Inderman, expects to represent even more victims soon.
