Two Families File Lawsuit in Train Accident

MIDLAND -  Two victims and their families have filed a lawsuit in Midland County District Court against Union Pacific Railroad and Smith Industries after the November 15th train wreck in Midland, Texas.

Initially, the case was filed with these two plaintiffs for procedural purposes. The families are Richard Sanchez and his wife Heather Sanchez, and Laci King and her husband Todd King. Richard Sanchez and Laci King were both injured in the wreck.

Glasheen, Valles & Inderman, LLP say they represent other injured veterans and their wives and plan on adding others to the lawsuit.

    A shooting just after 3 p.m. Saturday near 3rd Street and Detroit Avenue has left one person in the hospital at University Medical Center.
