MIDLAND - The family of one of the veterans who died in train accident earlier this month will get some much needed help from an area sports team.
The West Texas Drillers will host a benefit this Saturday for the family of Marine Gary Stouffer.
The Lady Drillers will sell baked goods and will take donations.
They'll be at Wal-Mart on Loop 250 in Midland this Saturday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The money will go toward the families travel expenses as they make their way to Arlington National Cemetery where Stouffer will be laid to rest.
