One of the veterans killed will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.
Army Sergeant Major Larry Boyvin had a memorial service with full military honors at Fort Bragg on Wednesday.
The date for the funeral has not been set yet but will likely take place after Thanksgiving.
Boyvin retired from the Army after 24 years of active duty which included four tours of duty in Afghanistan.
He was awarded the Silver Star, Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.
He was killed after he pushed his wife, Angela, out of the way during the crash.
Boyvin leaves behind his wife and two step-daughters.
