U.S. Army Collecting Canned Good for Jubilee Center of Midland

MIDLAND - The U.S. Army was stationed at the Midland Wal-Mart on Tuesday so that needy families in the basin can have a feast for the holidays.

The Army is collecting canned goods for the Jubilee Center of Midland which is an outreach that feeds over 200 families over the holidays.

Last year, they were able to collect over 900 pounds of food.

This year, they're hoping to surpass that number.

So far, they've been able to collect 950 pounds of food.
