Man Killed in Midland While Teaching Someone How to Ride a Motorcycle

MIDLAND - A mentor teaching someone how to ride a motorcycle crashed his bike on Monday afternoon and died in Midland.

Police say 31-year-old Timothy Keller was riding his motorcycle in the south parking lot of John P. Butler Park around 4:30 p.m.

We're told he was trying to teach a novice how to ride a bike.

While he was demonstrating, he began to speed and lost control.

He hit a curb, went airborne and hit a chain link fence.

Keller died from his injuries.

Officials are waiting for toxicology reports.
