A drug bust turned up pot and cocaine at a home in Lea County and one of the suspects put up a fight. Last Friday, we're told the Lea County Drug Task Force went to a home in Tatum and were met by 65-year-old Policarpio Ramirez.

LEA COUNTY, N.M. - A drug bust turned up pot and cocaine at a home in Lea County and one of the suspects put up a fight.

Last Friday, we're told the Lea County Drug Task Force went to a home in Tatum and were met by 65-year-old Policarpio Ramirez.

Officers say he attacked an agent.

He's charged with battery of an officer and resisting.

While investigating, agents say 20-year-old Jocelin Ramirez tried to hide seven ounces of marijuana by throwing it in a trash can.

She's charged with tampering with evidence and possession of marijuana.

A third suspect, 23-year-old Michael Garcia, was arrested after police found cocaine on him.
