AMARILLO - Funeral services for Sergeant Joshua Michael will be in Amarillo this weekend.
On his Memorial Facebook page, the funeral is scheduled for this Saturday at 2 p.m at Cornerstone Church of Amarillo.
Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery with full military honors.
The 34-year-old retired Army Sergeant was a paramedic in Amarillo and joined the army shortly after 9/11.
He did two tours in Iraq and was part of the group that spearheaded the invasion in Iraq in 2003.
Michael was injured three times by explosive devices and awarded two purple hearts.
His mother-in-law says Michael pushed his wife, Daylyn, off the trailer just before the train hit.
