While many are still reeling from the tragedy, the physical scars from the accident are starting to heal.
There were 16 people hurt in the crash but only a few are still in the hospital.
Of those sixteen, only one remains at Midland Memorial.
Sergeant First Class Richard Sanchez is in stable condition at Midland Memorial.
In an interview with Matt Lauer on the Today Show, he says his back was broken and doctors are waiting to see if his swelling will go down to see if he'll be able to walk again.
The other patient, Tiffanie Lubbers, is being hospitalized Lubbock.
She is the wife of 43-year old William Lubbers, one of the veterans who died in the crash.
Her condition is not being released for security reasons.
A third patient was transferred to a hospital in Atlanta, their hometown, for treatment.
