ODESSA - An Odessa man got drunk, got behind the wheel and got himself into a world of trouble after he crashed into the side of an Odessa restaurant.
According to police, someone called police around 2 a.m. Thursday morning saying the driver of a Ford F-150 had hit two dumpsters before crashing into the side of Norma's Cafe.
By the time officers arrived, they found the man passed out behind the wheel and could smell alcohol.
Tests showed his blood alcohol level to be nearly double the legal limit.
After being checked by medics, the man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.
