MIDLAND - TXDOT along with the Department of Transportation in Midland had to close down portions of Andrews Highway on Thursday afternoon to clean up a hydraulic fluid spill.
According to reports, a hydraulic line on a truck owned by Republic Services was leaking the fluid.
Parts of Andrews Highway had to be closed in order for crews to pour sand over the road to soak up the liquid.
The City of Midland tells NewsWest 9, Republic Services helped out with the situation and will not be facing any charges.
