The FBI and Department of Homeland Security continue to investigate terroristic threats made on the Internet toward local law enforcement.
The threats were made on a discussion forum called "Topix" by someone with the username "El Diablo."
The posts talked about murder, revenge and kidnapping.
The suspect talked about targeting not only the Midland Police and Sheriff's Office but also the Fort Stockton Police Department and their families.
Were told Fort Stockton Police contacted Alpine's Homeland Security on Friday and notified them of the situation.
Homeland Security then took over the investigation but is being assisted by the FBI.
