BIG SPRING - The former youth minister, who's accused of sexually abusing a young girl, has been indicted.
According to the Big Spring Herald, 70-year-old Samuel Lyte was indicted on charges of continuous sexual abuse of a child, aggravated sexual abuse, two counts of indecency with a child and tampering with physical evidence.
Authorities were notified about the abuse after a relative told police he thought Lyte was having an inappropriate relationship with a young girl.
Lyte is still in custody.
