An Alpine attorney, who is accused of mishandling money, will have his pre-trial hearing this Friday.
According to the indictment, Joe Foster mishandled between $100,000 and $200,000 of an elderly's woman's money over a four year period.
Foster recently lost the 394th State District Judge seat.
Although the accusations came out before the election, he was still on the ballot.
If found guilty, Foster faces between five years to life in prison.
