Mother, Daughter Arrested in Alpine for Selling Synthetic Pot

ALPINE - A mother-daughter duo was busted in Alpine for selling synthetic pot which is commonly called Spice.

We're told 27-year-old Illana Lipsen and her mom, 55-year-old Rosa, were arrested on Thursday night at The Purple Zone, which is a novelty store in Alpine.

The bust comes on the heels of a seven month investigation.

Authorities tell NewsWest 9, spice has become a big problem in the area and they are working to crack down on it.

No bond has been set for the mother and daughter.
