Hobbs Man Arrested on Drug Trafficking Charges

HOBBS, N.M. - A Hobbs man is locked up after the Lea County Drug Task Force got a tip that he was trafficking crack out of his apartment.

47-year-old Morris Taylor was arrested last week after several law enforcement agencies went into his house and found nearly 40 grams of cocaine, five doses of crack, scales and almost $1,600.

The coke had a street value of $4,000.

Taylor is currently at the Lea County Detention Center.
