MIDLAND - Three girls went into the Midland Wal-Mart and left with a ton of beauty supplies.

The only problem was they didn't pay for it.

18-year-old Alyssa Marquez, 18-year-old Alicia Alvarez and 19-year-old Kate Jones were arrested Tuesday on charges of participating in organized crime-theft.

According to the affidavits, the loss prevention manager called police after he saw the girls putting bottles of hair dye into a white purse then the girls tried to walk out of the store.

The manager went up to the girls and they admitted to stealing.

When the white purse was searched, nine items were found totaling more than $110.

While the girls were being questioned, the affidavit says they were joking and laughing the whole time.

The girls have since bonded out of jail.
