A former army recruiter from Midland found out how long he'll be spending behind bars.
27-year-old Arnold Gonzales was sentenced to a little more than seven years behind bars after pleading guilty back in July to traveling to meet an underage girl for sex.
In addition to the 7 years in jail, he'll have 10 years supervised release and will have to register as a sex offender.
Earlier this year, Gonzales began interacting with what he thought was a 12-year-old girl over the Internet.
It turns out; it was a law enforcement decoy.
