Halloween Activities in the Basin

Halloween Havoc will be hosting a Haunted House on October 27th,2012 at 5600 Perimeter Rd Big Spring. Adults $7 and Children are $5. All Proceeds go towards our Blue Santa Program that the Big Spring Police Association hosts to help area residents that are in need of assistance.

The Heritage Museum in Big Spring is inviting you to step back in time and take a look at how Halloween used to be celebrated. They have created a vintage Halloween costume exhibit that's open through Halloween. It features costumes and masks that date back to the 50's and 70's. On all-hallows-eve, the exhibit will host a trunk-or-treat in the front parking lot from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is free.

UTPB is also getting in the Halloween spirit this weekend. The College will be holding a Halloween carnival that's aimed at elementary students but anyone is invited to come out. The event is Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the UTPB Gym. Admission is $1 and tickets to play games are 25 cents each. Kids are asked to dress up in their costumes.
