Truck Driver Killed in Late Night Accident in Reagan County

REAGAN COUNTY - A truck driver is dead after an accident on Saturday night in Reagan County.

It happened around 10:00 on Ranch Road 33.

DPS officials say 40-year-old Roger Taylor of Spanish Fork, UT was traveling westbound on RR 2600 when he tried to make a left turn at an unsafe speed onto RR 33/State Highway 137.

The truck flipped on the driver's side and Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hazmat units were called out to clean up petroleum crude oil that the truck was hauling.
Premier Trading and Transportation out of Cushing, OK owned the big rig.

No one else was injured in this crash.
