ODESSA - It has been cramped living at the UTPB campus dorm rooms.
Now, a little relief is finally in sight.
On Thursday morning, UTPB students and staff broke ground on their newest living facility.
Now to understand how great of an announcement this is, you need to know where some students have been sleeping.
"We've got some students that are voluntarily, at a reduced rate, living, instead of having a bedroom, they're living in a living area. To accommodate as many people as possible this fall, we've got students sharing spaces that they normally wouldn't be sharing," UTPB President, Dr. David Watts, said.
The University is already discussing a phase five plan that would bring in a 300 bed dorm.
