Emily Griffin joined the NewsChannel 10 team in October of 2012. A native of Floydada, Texas, she's called the Texas Panhandle her home since birth and is excited to be working so close to her roots.

Emily graduated Summa Cum Laude from Angelo State University with a BA in Communication and a minor in English. While attending ASU, Emily's bubbly personality came in handy while she supported her Rams for two years as an ASU Cheerleader! During her third and final year at ASU, Emily worked as an evening producer for KSAN-TV, the NBC affiliate in San Angelo. Although she always had a knack for talking and interacting with others, it was her time at KSAN that pushed Emily to pursue her reporting and anchoring dreams.

Upon graduation, Emily earned a job at KVII-TV in Amarillo and worked as a reporter/anchor/producer there for nearly a year and a half before making the long-awaited jump NewsChannel 10!

Now, you can find Emily working alongside the wonderful crew at NC10. But, in her spare time, Emily loves spending time outdoors, hanging with pals, working out, visiting her family as often as possible or just sipping on a cold, sweet tea (it's her favorite!).
